If you’re watching this, there’s a very high chance you are of African descent, whether on the continent or in the diaspora, and that means this message reached you for a reason. At Pan African Lifestyle, we believe something simple yet profound: Black Americans shape culture. From music, to fashion, to language, to the very definition of “cool,” Black influence doesn’t just move America, it sets the rhythm for the entire world. But here’s the issue, too often Black creativity drives virality for enterprises that don’t benefit Black people in America or the global Black community. That’s why we’re here now. Many say Pan-Africanism is dead, a political idea of the past with no relevance today. We disagree. Pan-Africanism is not dead, it’s alive, but it needs to be reborn, rebranded, and reshaped into a lifestyle that is modern, inspiring, and rooted in culture, unity, and economic power. That’s why we’re calling on you, to help us make Black unity cool again through the Ubuntu Challenge. Ubuntu is an African philosophy meaning “I am because we are.” In that spirit, we created a song called Ubuntu. Here’s our experiment: make the Ubuntu Challenge trend by using the song in videos, tagging us, and adding the hashtag UbuntuChallenge. Pan-Africanism can be reborn through culture. This is Phase One of a three-step plan to rebrand Pan-Africanism for a new generation, and if our hypothesis is correct, the Ubuntu Challenge will be trending worldwide, unlocking Phase Two. So, if you believe in unity, if you love the Motherland, and if you know your influence is undeniable, join us.
