Macron angers Netanyahu over arms embargo comments

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticised French President Emmanuel Macron's calls for an embargo on arms shipments to Israel.

The French president stressed the need for a 'political solution' and called for an immediate ceasefire.

Macron's calls align with similar decisions by the UK, Germany and Canada.
