Etwa 2000 bis 3000 Fans der Glasgow Rangers sind in einem stimmungsvollen und friedlichen Fanmarsch vom Marktplatz am Rosental vorbei zum Stadion gezogen. Immer wieder erklang etwa der rhythmische Rangers-Song „We - are - the - people!” Die Atmosphäre war trotz hohen Alkoholpegels absolut friedlich, viele schottische Supporter verbrüderten sich mit den Leipziger Anhängern. Vor dem Stadion wurden einträchtig Getränke und Pizza geteilt. In der Bundesliga unvorstellbar.
Massive Polizeipräsenz beim Fanmarsch vor RB Leipzig gegen Glasgow Rangers
Das massive Polizeiaufgebot während des Fanmarschs auf dem Weg zum Stadion wäre nicht nötig gewesen. Die Beamten waren mit mehreren Hundertschaften vor Ort, was die Gästeanhänger eher erstaunte.
Übrigens: Das Leipziger Ordnungsamt wusste gar nichts von einem Fanmarsch. Amtsleiter Matthias Laube teilte RBlive mit: „Dem Ordnungsamt der Stadt Leipzig ist ein geplanter Fanmarsch für heute nicht bekannt. Ein solcher war auch nicht Gegenstand der Vorabstimmung mit dem gastgebenden Fußballverein.”
2400 Auswärtsfans werden im Gästeblock Stimmung machen, doch viele Anhänger von der Insel haben sich auch Tickets in den Heimbereichen gesichert.

It has been reported that around 7,000 Gers fans will be in Leipzig for the first leg of the last-four tie on Thursday night.
The Bundesliga side’s manager welcomed the away fans and, speaking at the club’s training ground, he said: “First of all we are happy that a lot of Rangers fans will come to the city.
