The sophomore full-length by this swedish Avant-Garde Black Metal trio, featuring Shrouded in Fog, B. Åström and Entiten (the last two responsible for other excellent acts such as Svarti Loghin and Faustus).

Again featuring guest appearence by the remarkable Wagner Ödegård, among others, "Herranom" follows up to the 2018 masterpiece, "Det Warder Sådt i Skröplighet och Skal Upstå ur Kraft" and sees the band continuing it's exploration with their autumnal Black Metal sound, fused with electronic elements and bizarre psychedelia.

Maybe even more experimental than their debut, "Herranom" definitely features less moments of Black Metal agressiveness as well as of rustic macabre Ambient. Instead here the trio explore more with electronic music, even including plenty of psychedelic synthethizers such as the second track, and what sounds like theremin on the 3rd one, and a somber and ceremonial Ambient interlude on the 4th. The 5th track is also an absolutely beautiful Black Metal cover of a Vond track.

The 6th and 7th tracks were previously present on the band's debut demo, but appear here with a different mix and clearer production.

Another brilliant release cementing Nacht und Gnosis as one of the most interesting and daring Black Metal projects of today.
