This is the result of a 3 1/2 yr complete restoration. This '67 Firebird is what I call "Respectfully Restored and Modestly Modified". The 400 has been bored, stroked and balanced. Keith Black Pistons, Comp Cam Performance Series, Ohio Forged Crankshaft. Petronix Ignition and Distributor. The Front Tuned Suspension is a QA1 coilover with upgraded sway-bar. 4 wheel Right Stuff Power Disc Brakes with 17" Aluminum Year One Rally's (frt: 17x8, rear: 17x9). Rear-end was upgraded with an Eaton Posi unit. Ceramic Coated Hooker Headers, 2 1/2" exhaust with electric cutouts. It has a new American Autowire harness running throughout. Munchie M20 4 speed was recently rebuilt and a Hurst Competition Shifter was added. Modern additional gauges have a stock appearance at the center console. Interior is completely new and flawless. Beneath the interior, Dyna-Mat covers the floorpans (front to back), firewall and even the inside of the door skins. The Original Factory Hood Tach was rebuilt and upgraded with LED lights.
- Pontiac production numbers show 82,560 Firebirds were made in 1967.
- 5,528 of which were convertible.
- of those, 1,221 were built with the 400 option.
- it's believed that less than 22% of those came with the 4 speed manual option.
- this is 1 of 268 Convertible '67 Firebird's built with a 400 /4 spd.
