Dear viewer, In this tutorial you will know learn How to set Conditional Formatting in oracle reports.

About Conditional formatting:
-We can highlight or suppress objects using conditional formats.
-Using the Conditional Formatting and Format Exception dialog boxes, you can specify output formatting attributes (font and color) for a selected layout object based on conditions that exist.
-The conditions that you define are called format exceptions.

Display Conditional formatting:
You can display the Conditional Formatting dialog box from the Paper Layout view or Paper Design view in any of the following ways:
Double-click the object to display the Property Inspector. Under the General Layout node, click the Conditional Formatting value field (labeled ...).
Right click the object- Conditional Formatting from Display the pop-up menu.
Select the object-then choose Format-Conditional Formatting.

Questions-01:
If the salary is between 9500 and 12500,
a. make the text color blue.
b. font size 14.
c. print the field bold and italics.
d. fill color gray
Questions-02:
If the salary is less than 10000 and job_id is SA_REP, That employee’s last_name is
a. the text color red.

If the hire_date is less than 15-oct-07 and job_id is SA_MAN OR salary greater than 12500, That employee’s last_name is
