Exmouth Navy Pier Dive

Double dive with Dive Ningaloo, May 2024.
If you're up this way, it's a phenomenal dive site hosting a mass of biodiversity. We saw 5 dugongs swim past as we were setting up. the we saw 4 wobbegongs, including one who was pregnant, 2 white tip reef sharks. There were octopus, moorey eels, rainbow trout. coronation trout, trevally, cod, nudibranchs, beautiful coral, ancient loggerhead turtle and of course the BFG ( famous big friendly grouper)
Dive Ningaloo are an extremely professional dive operator who offer transport from your accommodation, hire gear and dive guides if you want one although it's not necessary if you're confident.
The Navy Pier is, as it says, on a restricted base. As such, you must dive with Dive Ningaloo as they are the only business with licence to dive the site. You must also carry your passport or Australian Driver's Licence. This will be checked by the Australian Federal Police as you enter the base. Without it, you won't be allowed to dive.
