I was treated to a Goodmans turntable for Christmas from my mother-in-law so decided to share this fascinating and rare organ recording I have!

The organist is Stanley Tudor who was at one time resident organist of the Gaumont Cinema in Manchester on the Wurlitzer organ there. The venue is the Trocadero Ice Rink in Derby and the organ is a Compton electronic model 352 'melotone'. The recording dates back to 1954 and Stanley is playing some popular hits of the day.

As a lover of Compton electronic instruments, it is wonderful to be able to hear my favourite make of electronic organ in the hands of an organist of high caliber.
