Bicycle Touring Devon Somerset & Dorset / Bikepacking, Bike Touring Route / May 2019 Bike Tour,

A bicycle tour through 3 counties along sections of the National Cycle Network. The route was planned using the Sustrans online map and then plotting the route onto Google Maps and customizing the route as I worked out where I wanted to go. I then converted the Google Maps route to a GPX file saved on my mobile phone. Lots of mobile GPS Apps to choose from nowadays. I also wrote all the Town and Village names in a notebook.

Total Milage was 327 miles over 7 days.
The bike is a KONA DEW fitted with MTB disc brake wheels.
Tyres, Continental Doublefighter 2 (no punctures on the tour)
Total gear weight 38lb excluding water.

Special Thanks...Louise (Bridport) making sure I was ok after the collision and helping to get the bike ridable again. Auto Bitz Cycle Dept. (Bridport) for getting to work on the bike immediately and done within the hour.
