Advanced Inventory Manager: How to set accurate min/max levels at scale

Описание к видео Advanced Inventory Manager: How to set accurate min/max levels at scale

AIM solves one of the biggest challenges for supply chain managers – setting the right minimum and maximum stock level for hundreds, or even thousands of parts, components, ingredients or finished products – without spending hours in unreliable spreadsheets.

To do that you simply navigate to the products in your portfolio where you have no controls set. And what you do is ensure that for every SKU you have a minimum level – that's your reorder point, where you’ll be prompted in Unleashed to purchase more from your supplier.

You then set a maximum level – to ensure you're not needlessly over stocking.

You can also filter your selection further by looking only at products held in one of your warehouses – or by supplier, by product type, or by value.

AIM will then look at the actual lead time performance for all of those products in that warehouse, as well as their rate of consumption – whether through sales, or as they’re used up in production. And it calculates the appropriate minimum and maximum stock level for all of those lines, based on their individual performance.

Once that's calculated you can manually adjust anything you need – and then submit it to the Unleashed core.

So from then on, when you run your reordering process for that warehouse, the purchase orders that Unleashed automatically creates and emails will ensure you're avoiding stock-outs on any line, while keeping your inventory investment lean.
