During the 88th Texas Legislative session two bills were passed that aim to improve care for pregnant women receiving Medicaid: HB12 and HB1575. During this webinar, co-hosted by the Baker Institute Center for Health and Biosciences and the Texas Healthy Start Alliance, we asked our panel of experts to explain the purpose of these bills, the policy implications, and the potential to improve health among perinatal Medicaid populations. The panelists each spoke from their own professional perspective regarding the potential impact for Texas populations.
