What is fueling Kenya’s anti-tax protests?

Thousands of Kenyans on Tuesday took to the streets of the East African nation to demonstrate against tax hikes that are being championed by President William Ruto’s government. This marked the third time this month that protests broke out in Kenya over the matter.
