Located a service bulletin dated 12/01/2005 where it showed the updated engine mount from the previous 16207-79B to 16207-79C. Of course it would appear that they have updated it again to 16207-79D. According to the bulletin the engine mount retrofits touring motorcycles manufactured since 1980. As always, verify that you are using the correct part for your particular year, make, and model.

Replacing front motorcycle engine mount on this 2006 touring motorcycle. You can perform this job without using a motorcycle floor jack as long as you can get a jack underneath the engine to raise it up to get the old mount and new mount in place. In this video I am utilizing a motorcycle jack due to not having a floor jack that will be able to fit underneath my motorcycle along with attempting to get better video of the underside of the motorcycle. If using a floor jack please be careful when raising the engine not to tip the motorcycle off the jack stand. You may want to secure the motorcycle to the jack stand with a strap along with placing wood blocks underneath the front and rear tires of the motorcycle to prevent the motorcycle tipping off the stand.
