Описание к видео Along the Blackstone, Episode 69 - Stories from US National Parks: What Would You Do for Freedom?

Utilizing the historic landscape of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, we will travel to three National Parks asking the question of the Minute Men at North Bridge, Concord, MA, the free African American community on Beacon Hill in Boston and of the newly arrived immigrants from around the world as they passed through the Ellis Island, the port of entry for immigrants in New York Harbor - what would each of these groups do for freedom. Join us for a thematic journey through Minute Man NHP, Boston African American Meeting House, Ellis Island / Statue of Liberty National Monument and Independence Hall NP as we seek what it means to be free.
