Today I wanted to focus on an smartphone app that focuses on you getting cashback rewards from lyft and uber rides that you take. I am a going to cover how I found out about it and what my experience was like once I tried it out for myself.

So a week or so ago I was playing this game called the Lucky Day app where you basically scratch off cards to win tokens and cash. I have been playing this app off and on for years. Well in between the scratch off cards they show generally short ads.

It just so happened that the ad that was shown to me was for the Freebird Rides App. I was intrigued by the Ad and thought it might fit into my ridesharing lifestyle quite nicely.

I have always been the kind of person who likes trying out new things. This is true even if it turns out to be bad. I don't mind warning others so they don't experience the same thing..

So I went ahead and installed the app on my phone. I went through the process of linking up my lyft and uber accounts to it.I also had to add my credit card info in so that I could be credited for the rewards I would be eligible for.

Luckily at the time I was given a special promo code that allowed me to get 5 bucks back per ride for my first 5 rides. I was definitely motivated to take my first rides right away!

I opened up the app and placed my rideshare requests in it. It proved to be a generally straightforward task to do. You just put in your destination in the search bar and hit enter. Then it finds a driver for you through either uber or lyft.

It was bit of an adjustment since I was not going directly through the lyft or uber apps themselves.

When the ride was completed I rated my drivers and waited to receive my points from the freebird app which was pretty fast actually!

Right after my first 5 rides I noticed quick crediting of my points and cash to my freebird account. I was very happy about that. Then by the end of the week I was ready to cash in my first $25 bucks and I received my cash to my bank account in about roughly 24 hours. This normally takes 3 to 5 business days but I got lucky in my case. This pretty much sums up my freebird rides app reviews here!
