New Pen Day ~ Unboxing BENUs ~ Episode 152

In this video, I share two BENUs that I've had sitting around since May.

The Euphoria is very pretty, and both the Euphoria and AstroGem are sort of iridescent: depending on the angle and how the light hits it, sometimes the blue looks like a vibrant cobalt blue, sometimes it's a gorgeous purple, but the nib is scratchy and doesn't seem to write like a true Schmidt broad nib. Of course, the issue with broad v medium might be related to Troublemaker inks, which tend to be rather dry, so if I ink this pen with something else, I'll get a better sense of whether or not the nib really is a broad and not a medium, but it sure doesn't write as generous a line as does the AstroGem.

I get what they were going for with the AstroGem's body, but the cap is kind of bulky, ugly, and meh. It's a good thing the pen doesn't need to be posted when writing because it would definitely be top heavy.

Don't ask me why this phone's camera won't focus today because I don't have an answer to that question.

Sorry, yes, I do notice I misspelled Callifolio and I used my unpreferred way of spelling grey. Oh well.
