My apologies for the lack of recordings. Software is still a massive pain and my life is still very busy. Along with work I'm now doing Patience in which I am the main character, the make up work of Frankenstein (a rather amusing musical form of it) , writing for a short story competition, and soon I shall be flying off to Amsterdam to have my second final visit to the Netherlands! It feels so strange that a few months ago I uploaded Star of the Show feeling so low about the entire situation that I just had to rant about it in my description. I felt so alone and low. But now the situation has done a 180 and it's just...so strange. LOL. It's gone from nothingness to complete hectic chaos. But I'm glad things are on the up. I can't wait to move into my new apartment and enjoy my freedom. Since Jitter has access to the music rooms of the university, I might even be able to record in a better room! I'm very excited.

My next challenge is honestly to go on a bit of a diet. I've put on a few pounds since I got my job and I'm ready to put a bit more exercise into it. I was a caffeine junkie with a lot of pepsi and cola, so that was really bad on my teeth too, but I'm happy to say that so far I've cut down from about 5 a day to 1 a week. Even when I go out i tend to have different drinks all together, so I'm quite proud of myself. Next is my dieting with a lot more fruit and one big meal and a lack of sweety snacks. That's going to be so hard!!
Anyways, yes, I know Ghost has uploaded a bunch of new songs that I am learning! (The Distortionist is one of my targets!) But I felt like I wanted to go back and redo one of the older ones. The Things I Deserve is so morbid but such a fun song to sing. Plus it really challenges your ranges, so it's pretty good for singing practice!

Oh. I am also quite excited because I have another performance coming up at the end of June. Whilst there are some G&S related songs, soloists are invited to sing something completely different! I've managed to find piano music for a soprano version of Love Like You and also a transcript of Regret Message. I am leaning more towards Regret Message! Hopefully I can get it recorded and uploaded for you guys to see!

Now that I have provided my update, I shall now go and make some ramen! Haha, diet already ruined. I'm enjoying a lazy day...I haven't had one in so long and I'm going to be so happy just to relax and nap and paint and maybe do some writing.
