First Person Shooter - FAMAE SG 542-1 Elite (A Cold War Classic that didn't go mainstream. )

My second humble shooting vid, also with some discussion on the FAMAE. I have 4 total videos like this. Before doing more I am going to find a better chest rig system for my camera. Any feedback welcome. Also I failed to fully lock down my muzzle device and end up shooting it off at the end of the video. I'll post the video where it was found as well.

FAMAE's are awesome rifles. This is the 3rd one I have owned in .308. I finally opted for the Elite model with a 5/8x24 threaded barrel and factory tan finish. In my opinion this rifle is now overpriced relative to the competition given the large .308 black rifle market in Canada, but it is truly a classic rifle and a pleasure to own, handle and shoot. I also have a 543, which is a SBR version of 540 (the .223/556 equivalent of the 542). FAMAE also made their own SMG, that was patterned off of this platform (Chilean licenced the rights to domestically produce the Sig SG54X series), and appears to be somewhat inspired by the HK MP5 family.

The rifle featured is a FAMAE SG 542-1 ERE Elite and is legal to own in Canada with a PAL. Being a non-restricted firearm, it is legal for me to discharge on the rural private property this was filmed on.
