A massive fire tore through the E-Land Fashion Logistics Center in Cheonan, South Korea, one of the nation's largest fashion warehouses, starting early on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The blaze, which began on the fourth floor around 6:08 a.m., quickly consumed the 193,000 square meter facility, fueled by over 11 million stored garments and footwear. Emergency teams declared a Level 2 emergency, deploying hundreds of personnel, vehicles, and a specialized high-capacity water cannon system.
While the main flames were controlled after more than nine hours, residual fires persisted, and the blaze was not completely extinguished until the evening of November 17, over 60 hours later. Fortunately, no employees were injured as the fire began before work hours, but the structural damage was severe, including a partial collapse. The cause remains under investigation, though the facility had experienced a minor fire just nine days prior.
