Telangana formation day 2020: Telangana, one among the coronavirus affected states in India has opted to maintain a low profile celebrations on the Telangana state formation day this year, first time ever since june 2nd 2014.
On the occasion of the 6th formation day of Telangana, chief minister Shri kaluvakuntla Chandrasekhar roa - KCR extended wishes to the public within the state after the flag hosting. He reviewed the arrangements being made for the Telangana formation day.

Since from the formation of saperate Telangana state, the ruling TRS party held the Telangana formation day celebrations on a grand note across the state. Special cultural programmes with famous personalities in various fields from all over the india, cultural fetes reflects the culture and tradition of the state used to be organised every year since 2014. Not only in parade grounds, celebrations were also carried out in Ravindra Bharati, tank bund and other places of Telangana.

However, the celebrations this year have been kept low due to the coronavirus pandemic allover the world. No merit awards for officials and talented persons will be given this year as before. And the Telangana formation day celebrations will be held in the district collectorate in the presence of the speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. Educational Institutions and government offices would be celebrating the Telangana formation day by hoisting the national flag adhering to the norms.

Present CM sri kaluvakuntla Chandrasekhar rao (KCR) sir was born on February 17th 1954.. He resigned his post and formed TRS party on April 27th 2001..
