After countless hours of looking through good news, picking out five of my favorites for 10 months, designing graphics, summarizing each story, writing why each is important and why there’s so much hope for our future, I’m excited to finally have created this video: Part 1 of “Good News, Planet Earth!” 2020.

Even now, these stories fill me with gratitude and remind me that 2020 was just the beginning of a truly transformative era. I’ve seen many similar stories in 2021, and I hope this video helps show why these new innovations and positive changes are so important, while uplifting you with excitement and hope for a brighter future.

While many of the systems we live in still need drastic changes for the wellbeing of our world, these stories help to show how humanity is getting ready for this change, how systemic changes are already taking place, and how we’re developing the needed innovations to replace harmful systems that I believe will soon fall as more helpful and sustainable systems come to light.
