Blake Lively on Bringing Lily Bloom to Life & Using BFF Taylor Swift’s Song (Exclusive)

“It Ends with Us” stars Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar, Isabela Ferrer and Alex Neustaedter sit down with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi to chat about the movie, which is an adaptation of the hugely popular Colleen Hoover book. Blake shared that she didn’t really have reservations about taking it on and how she fell in love with Lily Bloom, a character who is both strong and vulnerable. She and Isabela, who plays the younger Lily, also dished on their uncanny similarities. Brandon, who plays Atlas, talked about how Colleen was his north star and not giving too much weight to people’s expectations. Plus, Blake dished on using bestie Taylor Swift’s song “My Tears Ricochet” for a particularly impactful moment in the film. “It Ends with Us” is in theaters August 9.
