Issued on #KingRecords 1400 and #QualityRecords 4306, written by #CharlesSingleton, a composer who contributed to their repertoire a few times before, and #RoseMarieMcCoy, this song made the rounds to artists as diverse as country yodeler #EltonBritt and soul singer #FayeAdams. This title from #TheYorkBrothers was the “A” side of “Two Loves in One Night.” This recording is good, solid country music from the brothers that show how well they were able to manage various styles including straight country, jazz influenced music, or plain rockabilly.
