Förster Friday Fun - O Holy Night Theme + Variations

Hello everyone and hope you are enjoying the run-up to Christmas ... can't wait to celebrate Christmas day with all the family next week!!! There will be other Förster Fridays the next weeks as I have decided to change the formatting of the series. I haven't chosen to do a concerto for 2025 to expand my exploration and experimentation, so series 4 for 2025 will start automatically after next week!!!

This is one of my favourite Christmas songs and was written in the 19th century by a Swedish composer, I am not sure whether this was an art song as there have been many different arrangements since then, including ones for choir/orchestra and lots in between. I have decided to do a mini set of semi-prepped/improvised theme and variations on this incredible song!!!
