'The Acolyte' is a mystery-thriller that takes viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a shocking crime spree, but as more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The newest 'Star Wars' offering comes from creator, showrunner, and executive producer Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), who also directed the first 2 episodes. Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef also executive produce, with Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim and Rob Bredow serving as producers.

VFX studios on the series include ILM, Hybride, Rising Sun Pictures, Luma Pictures, Clear Angle Studios, beloFX, and Outpost VFX, with previs by Proof Inc. Julian Foddy serves as production VFX supervisor, with Carlos Ciudad serving as production VFX producer.

From Lucasfilm, the series debuts June 4, exclusively on Disney+, with the first 2 episodes.
