This is Osiris New Dawn brought to us by Fenix Fire Entertainment. In this episode we work on automating our steel creation in order to fortify this resource gathering area. The guns need to be up high and the flooring needs to be sealed off, but so far it's a solid start!

Osiris New Dawn is a space survival horror game in which many typical survival elements (food, water, temperature, O2, etc.) are combined with an incredibly taxing alien environment complete with complex hostile flora and fauna on the moons surrounding a gas giant. The game takes inspiration heavily from things such as Martian, and Aliens, maybe even a little bit of Starship Troopers in there. When you play it also comes across rather similar gameplay wise to ARK Survival Evolved, as you also have to manage things like encumbrance (or how heavy items are). Aside from the fact that you start with evolved technology capability you start the game with very little, a few days food, some weapons with limited ammo, an inflatable dome (one person tent basically), and a little droid.

Things escalate quickly on the default settings of the game as you find that the native life on this moon is anything but conducive to foreign life forms. The game doesn't take long to get interesting as you quickly have to fight for your life amidst the unpredictable weather patterns the awkward day / night cycles and the hostile alien life. The game itself also has some RPG elements as well, as it includes things like a leveling up system where you get better at the things you perform, skill points to allocate into new areas of crafting and attribute points to allocate into things like faster movement or the ability to carry more, or simply more health. All in all it's quite an interesting take on a space survival game with fast action right out of the gate where you never know what's going to happen or what you are going to find.
