Sometimes you/your team receives a request to do a large amount of work in a short amount of time. To accomplish this, it's helpful to have a tracker showing the status of the tasks that need to be completed, who is assigned to each task, etc.

One easy and free way to do this (assuming your team has access to an Office 365 subscription) is to create an Excel document, list out the tasks to be completed, and assign tasks to teammates. Teammates can then collaborate on the document, marking tasks as complete as they progress through the work.

Combine this with conditional formatting, and it makes it relatively easy to split up a large amount of work between teammates, and ensure it is being worked with high efficiency. This video walks through how to use this approach in Excel.
