I picked up Hillbilly Hustle from Country Boy Brewing at Party Town in Florence Kentucky. Shout out to ‪@RodJBeerVentures‬ for telling me about that spot! This 4.5% Blackberry, lemon lager is brewed in conjunction with or collaborations with or something like that with Wes Brown and his book Hillbilly Hustle. The beer poured out a fairly clear yellowish color with a thin head. The nose was not very strong. A slight lemony scent with something else that may be blackberry. The beer was light bodied with a generic beer flavor mixed with the essence of blackberry and lemon. The flavors are similar to those flavored sparkling waters or hotel water that has fruit floating in it. The Blackberry and lemon were fresh and natural, just not very strong. This is a perfect hot weather beer and I enjoyed the entire 6 pack.
