In this lesson, we continue building the Millie Mini AI Bot by adding the upper post assembly, a vertical structural component mounted above the middle shelf.

This video builds directly on the previous lesson and focuses on using Local Coordinate Systems (LCS) to accurately position and reuse parts within an assembly.

🧠 Lesson Focus: Upper Post Assembly Using LCS

This lesson shows how engineers use coordinate systems to place the same part multiple times in precise, repeatable locations without redesigning geometry.

What We Do in This Video

In this lesson, we:

Import the post part into the assembly

Use Local Coordinate Systems (LCS) on the middle shelf

Attach the post above the middle shelf using LCS alignment

Reuse the same post part multiple times

Position the post in four locations above the middle shelf

Students learn how structural components can be reused efficiently while maintaining clean, controlled assemblies.
