Koi Pond Build part 1. Preparing the area for the pond, getting things level.

If you've watched my video's, you will know my son acquired a Koi fish that was his turtle's buddy. They both grew, one had to go, it was either the turtle or the Koi fish. My son chose to keep the Koi fish. Well, Broski is now out growing his 55 gallon tank, he needs a new home. After watching tons of videos, we decided, let's make him a pond in the backyard. This video shows the planning phase of Broski's pond. This is our first pond, so please interact and feel free to give suggestions or comments. Pond size 12"x8"x5" Approx. 3590 Gallons
Box-weld liner
Pond walls Earth and Railroad ties (sleepers).
Railroad ties 7"x9" will be stacking them on the tall side to get 27" height
Will dig down 33" and install a Koi Toilet 3" bottom drain.
Will install a 24"x48" viewing window.
Filter system #1 will be DIY Sieve and 3 55 gal drum moving bed system.
Filter system #2 will be Pond Skimmer fed into a Bakki shower system.
