1. The tech giant Microsoft has finally launched its much awaited Windows 10 smartphones in India. The company has priced the Microsoft Lumia 950 for Rs 43,699 and Lumia 950 XL for Rs 49,399. Along with this, the device will also come with a double data offer from Airtel Display Dock HD-500 worth Rs. 5999 with these smartphones as a limited period offer till 11th December. The smartphone come with 20-megapixel rear camera and 3GB of RAM.

2. The Japanese smartphone maker Kyocera has launched world’s first soap-proof phone named Dingo Rafre. The new handset can be used in any kind of environment; it can be cleaned using hand soap and is ideal for use in Kitchen and even during taking bath. The phone comes with integrated 1seg TV tuner, rubber duck-shaped stand to prop it up, Android Lollipo v5.1, 5-inch 720p display, 16GB inbuilt storage, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

3. YU Televentures is all set to launch its new smartphone YUTOPIA on 17th December. It is one of the premium devices of the company and it will adorn a metallic body. The handset will feature a 5.2-inch display with a pixel density of 1440p. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

4. People may soon have a needle free blood test as the search engine giant Google has filed a patent for a "needle-free blood draw" system that can be used either as a wearable or as a hand-held device that takes blood from a fingertip or other parts of the body. The blood draw system works by sending a surge of gas into a barrel containing a micro-particle that pierces the skin. Once blood is released from the skin, it's sucked up into the negative pressure barrel.

5. Yahoo! Inc. has introduced a brand new Yahoo Messenger for mobile, Web and in Yahoo Mail on the desktop. The new Yahoo Messenger lets sharing, un-sending and liking messages, photos and animated GIFs easy and fast. The app looks almost similar to WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and other messaging apps currently available.

6. Facebook has started rolling out new live video feature for its iPhone app. The feature will let users broadcast videos directly from their phone’s camera. All you need to do is tap the Update Status and selecting the Live Video icon. The Live video feature will be rolled out initially in US to small percentage of iPhone users before rolling it out globally said the company in a statement. It will compete against the likes of Twitter’s Periscope.

7. With a citizen’s’ first approach, the Delhi Police has joined the digital brand wagon with three Twitter accounts, one for the Delhi Police (@DelhiPolice) and two accounts of the Commissioner of Police Bhim Sain Bassi (@BhimBassi) and @CPDelhi. With the three accounts Delhi Police is paving way for a digitally enabled and safer city. With this initiative connecting to Delhi Police has become more accessible to the common man.

8. At WWDC in June the Cupertino giant Apple announced that it would open-sourcing it’s Swift programming language by the end of this year. Keeping its promise the firm has released open source Swift programming language. The company has also released a port that works with the Linux operating system! You can build it from the Swift sources or download pre-built binaries for Ubuntu.

9. Toshiba has introduced two new models of the innovative and Toshiba’s smallest A3 monochrome Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) in India. The e-STUDIO2802A and e-STUDIO2802AM (e-STUDIO2802AM series) are set to bring greater convenience and cost-efficiency to smaller businesses and workgroups said the company at the launch. The company launch unveiled e-STUDIO2303A, e-STUDIO2309A, and e-STUDIO2809A (e-STUDIO2809A series) for the Indian market. These new models are targeted at SMEs in India.
