Step inside the newly remodeled Angela Nomellini & Ken Olivier (ANKO) Building at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and look up — The Gravity of the Sun by artist Jacob Hashimoto transforms the Forum into a celestial space of curiosity and creativity.

Composed of more than 6,500 handmade washi-paper kites, this luminous installation symbolizes the power of teaching, learning, and meaningful meandering. Commissioned by the GSE art committee, this piece celebrates how art can reimagine the future of education.
