Church of St Peter and St Paul, Ormskirk Parish Church is one of only three churches in England that have a Tower and a Steeple - the first is in Wanborough, Wiltshire, the 2nd in Purton, Wiltshire and this is the third (not necessarily in their order of creation!). I was just returning from a trip to Scotland and had to include it in my homeward journey - it wasn't meant to be open but I got lucky!
