It's good practice to every now and then create a backup of the synths User Data. Many hours of (creative) work can be stored in there, we don't want to lose that.

To create a Backup we need a USB stick of at least 2GB and it needs to be properly formatted. Yamaha advises to format the it on the Montage / MODX, to avoid problems. This video shows how to format a USB stick on the synth.
