คลิปนี้เราได้แชร์การปลูกผักชีที่สามารถนำมาประยุกต์ได้กับการปลูกผักชีทั้งในเมืองหนาวและเมืองร้อน คลิปจะละเอียดและยาวหน่อย

เราได้ใช้ระยะเวลาทำคลิปนี้ทั้งหมดเกือบ 3 เดือนครึ่งเพื่อแชร์ขั้นตอนการปลูกผักชีเพื่อให้ได้ทานไว (โดยเฉพาะเมืองหนาว) สำหรับเพื่อนๆที่อยู่เมืองไทยก็สามารถนำบางส่วนมาปรับใช้ได้ค่ะ

ผักชีปลูกง่าย ทนร้อน ทนหนาว ถ้าเราบ่มเมล็ดก่อนก็จะช่วยกระตุ้นให้เมล็ดงอกไว แถมช่วยทดสอบว่าเมล็ดที่เรามีนั้น หรือเมล็ดเก่าหรือหมดอายุนั้นยังดีอยู่หรือเปล่า

ถ้าคุณอยู่เมืองหนาวคุณสามารถเริ่มปลูกผักชีไวในกรีนเฮ้าส์ เพาะเมล็ดในกระถางใหญ่ 12 x12 นิ้ว หรือในถาดหลุมก็ได้ พออากาศอุ่นขึ้นก็นำกระถางมาวางไว้ข้างนอกกรีนเฮ้าส์ สำหรับผักชีที่เพาะในถาดหลุมคุณสามารถนำมาปลูกลงในดินได้ ถ้าอากาศยังหนาวอยู่คุณก็ใช้ผ้าห่มผัก หรือ horticutural fleece คลุมกล้าผักชีค่ะ

สำหรับดินปลูกผักชีควรมีอินทรีย์วัตถุสูง เราได้นำ
- ปุ๋ยหมักเอง (garden compost) มาผสมดินในแปลงที่ปลูกผักชี
- ดินสำเร็จ (multi purpose compost)
- มูลไก่ (Poultry Manure Pellets) ถ้าไม่มีใช้ปุ๋ยสูตร 7-7-7 (Growmore) ก็ได้

สถานที่ปลูกผักชีควรมีแสงแดดส่องถึง

รดน้ำ ใส่ปุ๋ย กำจัดวัชพืช

เท่านี้คุณก็จะมีผักชีพร้อมรากผักชีปรุงอาหารค่ะ

Hi. This clip is about how to grow coriander. To achieve good result, you can follow this simple method.

- soak coriander seeds overnight or 3 - 4 hours

- wrap seeds with a piece of cloth or kitchen towel. Keep them warm and moist then leave them till germinate. Please check every few days

- Once they germinate, sow them in a big plastic pot (12 X 12 inches minimum) or in seed tray. As I started in late winter, I kept them in the greenhouse.

- when the weather gets warmer ( late march in UK), I planted my coriander seedlings (from seed tray)in the garden in well prepared soil with garden compost. However, it is a good idea to cover them at night with horticulture fleece to protect them from frost ( if you have one).

- Next step it's easy. Keep them well watered and weeds free. Feed them with chicken manure.

- Enjoy your very own coriander. All parts of coriander including their roots are useful for Thai or Asian cooking. They are precious if you live abroad as it is not easy to find them.
