Derwent Reservoir Kayak Fishing Comp Day 1 | Bad Weather Kayak Fishing - Hobie Kayak Fishing Uk

Day 1 of fishing the ‪@Ontopangling‬ Derwent Comp, the wind wasn't looking promising. Gusting 30mph winds across the reservoir we knew the weather was going to be an issue, but we launched anyway hoping for the best.

‪@fatboyafloat‬, Jason Scalley and I launched into the abyss with everyone else and headed off looking for the fish. Didn't take long for the wind to pick up and banter to start. We headed in early so we could prepare better for day 2 and hoping to find some fish.

Day 2 and some actual fish coming soon.
