Taliban violence in Afghanistan up by 50% in last 3 months: U.S. Watchdog

A new report by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction has said that the Taliban’s violence has increased by 50 percent in the past three months to the end of September when compared to the previous quarter, as the peace talks in Doha were at an impasse.
