The CheyTac M200 Intervention, with production commencing in 2001, is a long-range anti-personnel weapon based on the EDM Arms Windrunner design. Its distinction lies in its relatively lightweight and compact structure, making it one of the finest sniper rifles ever crafted.

This sniper rifle operates with a 7-round detachable single-stack magazine, with an optional 5-round magazine available. CheyTac Inc. asserts that the M200 is capable of achieving sub-MOA accuracy at ranges of up to 2,500 yards (2,286 meters), using either .408 or .375 CheyTac ammunition.

The CheyTac M200 Intervention’s system includes the Advanced Ballistic Computer, a key component in long-range firing. This handheld device, small and portable, is pre-loaded with specific ballistic data for the .408 CheyTac cartridge and the M200 Intervention rifle. It calculates various variables, including atmospheric conditions, bullet drop, wind speed and direction, and target distance, providing real-time accurate firing solutions.
Despite its hefty price tag and considerable size, the CheyTac M200 Intervention has found its place in the arsenals of five countries worldwide: Italy, Poland, Singapore, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. It's the weapon of choice for elite military units, such as the renowned British SAS, Polish GROM and the formidable Turkish MAK. There are also unconfirmed reports that suggest the US Navy SEALs may be utilizing the exceptional long-range capabilities of this remarkable weapon.
