AFFORDAPLANE TA1 LOGS 70 HRS. WINDS 10MPH GUST 20

TA1 hits 70 hrs. of flight time on a day that was a wee bit gusty. While she is performing nice I do Have some up coming maintenance to attend to. First she need a thorough cleaning and its about time to retorque the cylinder head bolts. I have ordered a new primer knob and wind meter as the old one leaks and the wind meter is suffering from humidity and sun damage. The air filters need cleaning an recoiled and the engine could use some degreasing. My center section fabric can use some new Velcro as some of it is loosing its adhesion near the ends. It has been very hot here in Houston so some of these items will wait until September or so. On another note I am slowly starting to add nuts bolts and washers to Affordaplanestore.com. I have acquired a new dealer account and will be expanding the store to eventually supply all the hardware from the plans. I would like to add sub kits for the affordaplane however I believe Dave Edwards is working on that, so for now we will be sticking to parts and hardware. Check the store from time to time as things are moving forward, it just takes time as I'm doing it all myself.
