Sad Days, Happy Days ║ Hang Out with This Homeschool Mom of 8 │ School Week 17

I had a rough start to this week with some sad feelings keeping me down for a couple of days. But as always, every sad day comes to an end and happy days return. Thomas got to drive the big van for the second time this week and took his first trip through the bank drive-thru. Tom and Thomas finished up the 5-week-long building project in Grandma Kitty's greenhouse. I spent time using the planner I made to sell on my blog so I could make sure it was ready for sale. This week was Magic Monday when Tom plays Magic the Gathering with any of the kids that like to play. I play the matching game with the rest of the kids using token cards from the MTG game. The kids loved our weekly trip to the library since they got to "paint" with shaving cream. Daddy has been feeling a little wistful this week at the thought of all of his little girls growing up. (I would like to say that I know my friend wasn't being malicious and had good intentions with the things she said; they were just very hurtful and unjustified nonetheless.)

We homeschool using ACE curriculum. Our kids are 16, 14, 12, 10, 7, 5, 4 and 2. Our baby girl is due in 2 months.
