ournal AIR is the world’s first peer reviewed academic journal dedicated to research by high school students in Silicon Valley and globally. The journal is a product of Esther Wojcicki’s Moonshot in Education framework and it is designed and run primarily by high school students through a collaboration between Stanford and Palo Alto Unified School District’s Advanced Authentic Research (AAR) program. The peer review journal was founded on the principles and guidelines laid out by the AAR program, and it was designed and implemented by students in Freedom Cheteni’s d.school lab using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
