WHERE ARE THE MEN?

Hello people! 👋
We just finished church service and I looked around, there were not too many men... And I kept wondering in my heart, "where are the men?"🤷🏼‍♂️

A lot of men would have reasons, excuses and justifications not to come to church.
Some would brag about the fact that they've gone looking for money or other ways to make ends meet... Some would even say it's only women that serve God. Seriously?!😳

Really, it's no longer cool for men not to serve God the way they should. It's not justifiable at all...
In the early church, it was the men that pioneered the push for the growth and spread of the gospel. We thank God for the women but then, the men were up and doing, surrendering themselves to God in all that they did.

In 2Timothy1 : 5 Apostle Paul was speaking to Timothy and commending him for his faith and he said something, he said,
".....The faith that your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice had..."
And I was wondering... Imagine how the faith of the mother and grandmother stood out, it was commendable!

But where was his father? Where was his grandfather? What happened to their faith? In other words, they were not to be reckoned with... It was only the faith of the mother and the grandmother that stood the test of time. Men, why don't we rise up and serve God?

Listen, there are three 'S' you shouldn't joke with.

SERVICE - serve God with the whole of your heart and life.

SACRIFICE - sacrifice for the things of God. Deny yourself certain things just for the sake of the gospel.

SHOW FORTH - note, 'show forth' and not 'show off'. Show forth the grace of God.
Let people see you and see that of a truth, this one has been with Christ and has been refined in Him (Acts4:13), let people perceive that truly you have been with Christ. Show forth the gospel by the way you live, by who you are.

Dont serve God as a mere hobby. Serve Him with joy. Not something you have to be coerced to do.
Stop serving God only when you are bored, don't make Him an option when you have nothing else doing.
Stop serving God only when you are in trouble. Don't remember God only on the days of adversities. Don't put God at the bottom of your priorities.

The Bible says "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you." Those things you are running after are what gentiles too are running after. Once you put God in the last space in your order if priorities, God also places you on a pedestal where you remain an UNIMPORTANT ENTITY to Him.

We thank God for your job but remember to put God first always.

LET MEN ARISE TO THEIR POSITIONS IN THE KINGDOM. YOU ARE THE HEAD, RETAIN THE HEADSHIP IN YOUR HOME BY MAINTAINING A RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD AND IT SHALL BE WELL WITH YOU.
