Tower Of Song memories during Tom Martins tenure. Maybe some good news on the way with new owners.

Two soundtracks on these photo slides, first up is Brothers Groove, the first band I saw play there and Ritchie Dave Porter who was a regular player on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Both are local acts.

Thanks for the memories Tom Martin, for giving Birmingham this iconic live music venue - THE TOWER OF SONG.

Two top USA guitarists on to their UK tours both said it was the best atmospheric venue on tour in Europe. High praise indeed from Kirk Fletcher who is a Joe Bonamassa sidekick and Chicago Bluesman Johnny Burgin who is internationally renowned from America to Japan, Mexico and Europe. Johnny has played many times with Charlie Musselwhite the great blues harp player.

We sincerely hope the Tower Of Song will live on as a music venue whoever takes it on. I wish Tom Martin all the best in the future wherever his guitar takes him. Thanks for all the good times.
