Forza Horizon 3 by Playground Games/Microsoft, 2016.

The first Forza Horizon game to appear on PC brings a squished version of Australia and all manner of cars to race on it. It's great fun to play (which I had to do a lot of, to unlock enough for these clips!) and includes road cars that can be modded up into rally racers (hence some of the cockpits looking more road car than rally here!).

Skins are available from the community, so you can make the cars look right, even if they're not spot-on genuine rally cars (although some of the Group B cars are!).

I've included the Blizzard Mountain and even Hot Wheels DLC stages, just because, well, they're fun to see! The weather, and particularly skies, are great in this game. The only real complaint is that the sound in the replays seems rather off, going to maximum revs or sounding too low revs, compared to how it sounded in-car.

Overall, very playable, sounds and looks great, but is being discontinued and removed from sale soon, sadly. So, get it whilst you can, if you like this sort of fun sandbox game!

Note: the framerate sometimes dips a bit, this is down to the capture, not so much what happens in-game (although occasionally it can start to stall in some races, where a restart of the game usually helps!).
