Description:
This is Windows Vista build 5259 (5259.winmain_idx02.051113-2100) in VMware Workstation Pro. This is a pre-Beta 2 build that was compiled on 2005-11-13 and expires on 2006-05-31. This build was shared online on or before 30 November 2005 and was likely to have multiple recompiles though as of the uploading of this video, only one is available (5259.3.winmain_idx02.051117-1715). This build is full of issues and programs often crash or do not function.

This is a very interesting video for me because:
1. This is perhaps the longest video I've ever uploaded.
2. I literally paid for a server and had Windows Server 2008 R2 installed on it just for this video and future videos so I can use older versions of VMware without concerns of my host crashing while recording.

How I got this to run:
VMware Workstation Pro 11.0.0 with these settings:
Backwards compatibility with 6.5-7.0
OS set to Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
1 GB RAM
1 CPU core
Floppy drive available
NAT networking (disabled)
40 GB SCSI HDD
Be sure to enable 3D Acceleration
Used a Windows 95 bootdisk to create and format a partition so setup would recognize the drive.
For drivers, I use the VMware Workstation 10 XPDM for the display driver and 6.5 driver for audio.
