Walk, or run, but I don't recommend driving your vehicle on the Bonneville Salt Flats, unless your going for a land speed record.

The largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere is Utah's Great Salt Lake, and the western edge of the the lake is where you'll find the Bonneville Salt Flats.

It's where they set land-speed records, top speed of 630 miles per hour, but it's a great place to enjoy a walk.

Bring your rubber boots if you don't want to go bare foot through water areas on the rough salt crystals.

It's a great place for creative photography and videography.

My favorite experience was watching the sunset, the milky way, and the sunrise.

After taking my truck on the salt flats I spent hours removing the densely packed salt from underneath the vehicle. It was a significant effort with a power washer that involved me laying under my truck and getting a salt bath and eye-wash.

So take a walk, or a run, or just hang-out as you enjoy the views on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
