On the 23rd and 24th of February 2023, Westlife's The Wild Dreams Tour Live In Kuala Lumpur was held at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. Westlife, which consists of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne, was established in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. With 12 studio albums and over 55 million records sold to date, Westlife is considered a success story from the beginning.

The band's debut album had all five singles reaching No.1, creating a record that remains unbroken. The band's latest tour is named after their new studio album, Wild Dreams, which was released in November 2022. The members have described the album as "uplifting" and inspired by the challenges of the pandemic.
