Kenna “wolfs” her food down feathers and all! Old wolfdog Kodiak decides its too much trouble to protect or burry his so he hands his over to the hungry youngster and she gets two! Haha

Feeding Whole animals is good 👍🏻
Feeding LIVE animals is bad 👎🏻 don’t do that...

So living out here in the country these luckee wolf dogs get access to all kinds of good treats and these chickens were given to them by my friends Matt and Amanda that raised them organically for eggs and such. These were some old hens and a couple roosters. Yum

Kenna is a young high content wolfdog, and Kodiak is a handsome 14 year old low content rescue wolf dog with lotsa malamute. The two are a pretty badass digging duo haha

—There are lots of RAW feeding groups (and a lot more “rules” to it than when I did it full time) there seems to be a large “Church of RAW Feeding” and other nondenominational RAW factions out there so you can pick your particular flavor... 😜 or belief system. It can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it... try it it’s better than most dog food no matter how you do it!

And... while gray wolves can eat between 20-25lbs in one sitting, a wolfdog may not be able to (Though they may try!). These guys free feed "grain-free" kibble between meaty meals but don't seem to eat the whole bag, gee I wonder why?
