I'd love your calls on this - especially if you think, actually the companies deserve the money.

It's reported the government is considering plans to force water firms in England to become not for profit - or risk losing their contracts to competitors.

This comes after a warning that water bills could go up by even more than initially expected.

In July, it was agreed that companies could increase bills by an average of £19 per year between 2025 and 2030.

However, they're demanding even more - which could lead to an increase of over £176 on your household bill.
