Photographing Green Woodpeckers using the Olympus 150 - 400mm Lens

Описание к видео Photographing Green Woodpeckers using the Olympus 150 - 400mm Lens

In this video I show images and video clips taken of Green Woodpeckers, photographed at both my hide near Colchester , as well as my older hide near Ipswich. All the video and images in the first part of the video are taken using the OM1, and the Olympus 150-400mm lens. In the second part of the video, I was using the EM1mkII and the 40-150mm F2.8 plus the MC 14 converter. I show how shooting at ground level can give a more natural and pleasing result. I also demonstrate the use of the low level opening on my hide.
Bird Paste Recipe :
1 Cheap supermarket white sliced loaf, I block of lard, 1 pint boiling water, I cup full of mixed bird seed. All mixed well together and rolled in to balls to fit in a fat ball feeder.
